How to put on an Apple Watch band with case
A one-piece band and case replaces the original strap completely. Fitting takes about a minute and needs no tools.
Remove the original band
Turn the watch over, press the band release button and slide each strap sideways out of its slot. Keep the original band somewhere safe for dressy days.
Fit the watch into the case
- Wipe the watch so no grit is trapped under the bumper.
- Line the Digital Crown up with its cut-out first.
- Press that side in, then roll the opposite edge in with your thumbs.
- Check the side button, speaker and microphone holes line up.
- Close the strap at the hole that sits snug but lets a finger slide under.
Rugged metal cases
The rugged metal Ultra case closes around the watch and covers the Digital Crown. Fit the included screen protector before the case, and take the watch out of the case before you take an ECG reading.
